Description

The Los Angeles machine determines the resistance of crushed stone and gravel to abrasion and impact: the sample rotates in a steel drum together with a charge of cast iron balls, after which the mass loss on a control sieve is evaluated.

The electronic control unit sets the number of revolutions with automatic stop at the end of the cycle — 500 or 1000 revolutions without operator involvement. A removable galvanized steel tray simplifies sample discharge.

A sound-insulating enclosure with a door-open start interlock reduces the noise level and ensures the safety of laboratory personnel.
