Description
The device is installed in the test area of a compression testing machine and makes it possible to determine the flexural tensile strength of concrete on beams with cross-sections from 100 × 100 to 150 × 150 mm without purchasing a separate flexural machine.
Its own 100 kN strain-gauge load cell connects to the second channel of the machine controller — measurement is carried out in an accurate low range rather than by the main high-capacity transducer. Roller supports with an adjustable span self-align to the specimen, compensating for non-parallel faces.
The loading arrangement switches between three-point and four-point by repositioning the upper rollers.
