In-Test has doubled its stocked programme of spare parts and consumables for testing equipment. The warehouse now permanently holds over 1,200 items: hydraulic seals and valves, load cells, control boards, heating elements, laboratory sieves and specimen moulds.
The warehouse expansion directly reduces laboratory downtime: the most frequently requested components ship on the day the order is received, whereas made-to-order delivery previously took four to eight weeks.
A dedicated warehouse section has been allocated to consumables for road laboratories — filter rings for extractors, paper discs for gyratory compactors, penetration needles and rings for ring-and-ball apparatus.
