In-Test invites construction supervision engineers and testing laboratory staff to a free webinar dedicated to non-destructive methods for determining concrete strength in structures.
The programme compares the rebound, ultrasonic pulse velocity and pull-off with fracture methods: the applicability limits of each method under GOST 22690 and GOST 17624, requirements for the number of measurement areas, and the rules for establishing calibration curves.
A separate section covers typical mistakes: relying on the manufacturer's 'universal' curve without reference to the actual concrete mix, taking measurements on damp or carbonated surfaces, and choosing the wrong ultrasonic path length.
The webinar will last an hour and a half, followed by a Q&A session. All registered participants will receive the recording and methodological materials. Registration is open until 20 October.
