Description
The moisture analyzer combines a precision balance and a halogen heater: the sample is dried directly on the weighing pan while the instrument calculates the moisture content from the mass loss in real time. A rapid result is ready in 5–15 minutes instead of several hours of oven drying.
Automatic, timed and gentle drying modes are configured to suit the material; methods for typical samples (sand, mineral filler, soil) are stored in the instrument memory. Results are transferred to a PC via USB.
The instrument is used for rapid moisture control at concrete batching plants and asphalt plants; for referee determinations, standard drying to constant mass is used.
