Description
The fume hood is designed for work with solvents, acids and bituminous materials: binder extraction, sample preparation for chemical analysis, bitumen heating. The vertically sliding toughened glass sash locks at any height.
The porcelain stoneware worktop is resistant to solvents and heat; the body is made of metal with a chemically resistant powder coating. The standard configuration includes an explosion-proof luminaire, two sockets with covers, water taps and a drain into a chemically resistant sink.
The air velocity in the working aperture is monitored by a built-in anemometer with a low-draught alarm; the hood connects to the general laboratory exhaust system via a ⌀ 200 mm duct.
