50 kN Marshall press with data logging
Electromechanical 50 kN press for determining the Marshall stability and flow of asphalt.
- 24-month warranty and spare parts from stock
- Commissioning, staff training and methodological support
- Assistance with equipment certification as part of your laboratory
Description
The press is designed for testing cylindrical asphalt specimens for stability and flow by the Marshall method, and — with interchangeable fixtures — for indirect tensile (splitting) tests.
The electromechanical drive maintains the standard deformation rate of 50.8 mm/min regardless of the load. A strain-gauge load cell and a displacement transducer feed data to the controller, which records the maximum load and the deformation at the moment of failure.
The scope of supply includes a Marshall breaking head and software for plotting the load–deformation curve and generating the test report.
Features
- Constant speed of 50.8 mm/min under load
- Class 1 load cell and 0.01 mm displacement transducer
- Marshall breaking head in the scope of supply
- Optional fixture for splitting tests
- Software with an automatic test report
