Product code IT-AS315
Automatic Marshall impact compactor
Automatic compactor for moulding ⌀ 101.6 mm asphalt specimens by the Marshall impact compaction method.
- 24-month warranty and spare parts from stock
- Commissioning, staff training and methodological support
- Assistance with equipment certification as part of your laboratory
Description
The impact compactor moulds cylindrical asphalt mixture specimens with a standard 4536 g hammer falling from a height of 457 mm. The electronic counter switches off the drive after the preset number of blows — the typical cycles of 35, 50 and 75 blows are stored in memory.
A massive hardwood base on a steel plate absorbs vibration and provides the compaction conditions required by the standards. The hammer lifting mechanism with a guide prevents misalignment and mould wear.
A safety guard with an interlock stops the cycle when opened, allowing safe operation of the unit in training and production laboratories.
